Performance

The F-150 Lighting's battery has a usable capacity of 98 kWh and a standard range of 230 miles. You can upgrade the truck with an extended-range battery that has a usable capacity of 131 kWh. The battery has a range of 320 miles when fully charged. The new F-150 Lightning can tow up to 10,000 pounds, perfect for your commercial and personal hauling needs.

The Ford F-150 Lightning has an independent rear suspension system which helps to improve the ride quality and off-road performance. The setup provides better control by improving the rear wheels' articulation. The F-150 Lightning's rear electronic Locking axle helps to improve traction when driving in slippery road conditions.

The truck's battery can be recharged through the regenerative braking system. The regenerative braking system also helps to minimize brake wear and increase fuel efficiency.

The new Ford F-150 Lightning has an integrated trailer brake controller for added control and stability when towing a large load. The trailer sway control system helps to minimize unwanted trailer movement when driving on the highway. The Ford F-150 Lightning has an electric power-assisted steering system allowing a smoother ride and better control when navigating tight corners.

The Ford F-150 Lightning has a sport mode that allows faster acceleration and increased power when driving on highways or off-road. This mode also lowers the truck's center of gravity for better stability in corners and uneven terrain around Metamora.

Design

The truck's interior has enough space for five passengers. The interior is upholstered in standard leather, and the LARIT provides soft and comfortable leather seats. Drivers who own the LARIAT can enjoy the warmth of the heated seats. The driver's seat has a memory function that lets you save the seat's position for up to five different drivers. The power adjustment feature allows the driver to adjust the seat in eight positions to find the perfect seating position.

The lumbar support feature allows the driver to relax and reduce fatigue during long drives. The Ford F-150 Lightning has manually adjustable passenger seats and a rear seat that flips to help you stow your gear.

The strong assist handles make getting in and out of the vehicle easy. The door handles are easy to reach and have a soft texture for better grip. You can open the sunshade with one touch to allow light to enter the cabin through the available twin-panel moonroof.

The F-150 Lightning has a work surface that can be used to complete tasks or work on a laptop. The cargo box is illuminated with LED lighting, which helps to make it easier to load and unload cargo at night.

Technology

The Ford F-150 Lightning's available SYNC 4A infotainment system is accessible through the 15.5-inch touchscreen. The system has a built-in navigation feature that helps you find the shortest route to your destination. Your F-150 Lighting has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability to access your apps through the truck's touchscreen. The Ford F-150 Lightning includes the available phone as a key feature, which allows you to unlock and start the truck with just your smartphone.
